According to LPD further charges are not expected in connection to a November crash that injured an elderly Lubbock man. He died last Friday. 87-year-old Ira Purdy was riding in a car turning onto Slide from 57th Street when it was hit by a southbound SUV driven by Suzanne Tuberville, wife of Texas Tech football coach Tommy Tuberville. LPD Sergeant Jonathan Stewart reports Mrs. Tuberville received a citation for running a red light. He said the investigation into the crash is closed.
