As a kid my dream was to one day become a successful lawyer or a famous DJ! 26 year’s later, I’m still neither…but here’s the run down on how this whole thing came about. I’ve been working for Magic 93.7 since of May of 2001. I get hired and no one likes my real name; it is somewhat Asian so folks were not too happy with DJ LEE…so then “Sisco” came about. I was a bit hesitant about that because 1. Sisqo had the “thong song” out at that time 2. Cisco from the then Kumbia Kings was around…luckily both dudes threw the deuce and now I’m the only “Sisco” with the microphone. Ha. Nombre Chattup!
Started off on Saturdays from 7-12, then I got lucky and picked up a Sunday shift from 12-5. After a year of doing that, I had an opportunity to move up to do the morning show! It started off great, but I tell you partying til 230 and waking up at 5 was no joke..especially when you’re 20 yrs old…I ruined my own life! So….then things changed; after a year of that I moved down to do the night show did that baby for about 4 years…all of a sudden a thing called reality creeped up on me and I decided to join corporate America. So now I’m neither a successful lawyer nor a famous DJ, but a kick a** banker with a part time (part time) gig onda side working for the #1 station in Tejano Music today Magic 93.7!
